In order to conduct business through the Website, Users may take on different roles depending on the Auction or Lot with which the User interacts. Below are definitions of the types of Users:
Seller: A Seller is a User who is the primary owner of an Auction. The Seller is responsible for the accuracy, terms, and Content of an Auction including all Lots. To become a Seller User, any Website Registered User may create an Auction and create Lots for sale under the Auction.
During an Auction, Sellers are given access to see real-time information about Bidders on Lots within the Seller's Auction. This is to ensure the Auction is operating as expected and to keep track of Bids made against Lots in the Auction. The information includes:
Bidder Username
Bidder Number
Bid Amount
Bid Timestamp
After an Auction Closes and all Lots have been closed for bidding (Auction has Ended), Sellers are given access to additional information about their Auction that is NOT MADE AVAILABLE to the Seller while the Auction is still Live. This information includes:
A list of all bids made on all Lots in the Auction
A list of all Users who Registered for the Auction (Registered Bidders)
A Bidding Report that shows the timestamp, amounts, and methods of how each Bidder User bid using either direct bids or by using the Auto-Bidder (Maximum Bid feature) on all Lots within the Auction. This is to ensure Auction integrity and audit after Close.
A copy of all Invoice(s) sent to User(s) who win Lot(s) within the Seller's Auction
The User details and contact information for any User who wins a Lot within the Auction
Sellers may upload additional content to the Website in the form of "Invoice Templates" that contain information needed to be sent to Buyer Users (see below) who win Lots within the Seller's Auction. This content is the responsibility of the Seller and the Website stores and shares this information to the Buyer.
Sales Manager: A Sales Manager is a User designated by the Seller to assist, run, manage, or otherwise perform all Auction and Lot related tasks on the Seller's Auction. The Sales Manager is responsible for the accuracy, terms, and Content of an Auction including all Lots.
During an Auction, Sales Managers are given access to see real-time information about Bidders on Lots within the Seller's Auction. This is to ensure the Auction is operating as expected and to keep track of Bids made against Lots in the Auction. The information includes:
Bidder Username
Bidder Number
Bid Amount
Bid Timestamp
After an Auction Closes and all Lots have been closed for bidding (Auction has Ended), Sales Managers are given access to additional information about their Auction that is NOT MADE AVAILABLE to the Sales Managers while the Auction is still open for Bidding.
Sales Managers may upload additional content to the Website in the form of "Invoice Templates" that contain information needed to be sent to Buyer Users (see below) who win Lots within the Seller's Auction. This content is the responsibility of the Sales Manager and the Website stores and shares this information to the Buyer.
Consignor: A Consignor is a User designated by either the Seller or Sales Manager on an Auction to manage Content for a specific Lot within the Seller's Auction. The Consignor is responsible for the accuracy, terms, and Content of the Lot.
During an Auction, Consignors are given no additional information than what a regular Registered Bidder of the Website can see.
After an Auction Closes and all Lots have been closed for bidding (Auction has Ended), Consignors are given access to additional information about their Lot that is NOT MADE AVAILABLE to the Consignor while the Auction is still open for Bidding. This information includes:
A list of all bids made on the Lot for which the User is a Consignor in the Auction
A Bidding Report that shows the timestamp, amounts, and methods of how each Bidder User bid using either direct bids or by using the Auto-Bidder (Maximum Bid feature) only for the Lot on which the User was designated as a Consignor. This is to ensure Auction integrity and audit after Close.
If the Lot for which the User was designated Consignor is won, a copy of the Invoice sent to the User who won the Lot is sent to the Consignor.

At the time of Auction Registration, a "Bidder Number" is randomly generated for the User and this Bidder Number is used only for the Auction for with the User registered. This means that a User registering for multiple Auctions will have a Bidder Number unique to each Auction to prevent tracking across Auctions. During and after an Auction, Registered Bidders can see the "Top Bid" on each Lot in the Auction. The Top Bid information includes:
Bidder Number
Bid Amount
Bid Timestamp
Buyer: A Buyer User is a User who was a Registered Bidder (see above), who bid on a Lot(s), and who won a Lot based on the Terms of the Auction and any Reserve Price that may have been set on the Lot. A Buyer User is given the same information as a Registered Bidder with additional information provided at the Close of the Auction containing the Lot won by the Buyer User. At Auction Close, an Invoice is automatically generated and sent to the Buyer using the contact information provided when the User signed up for access to the Website (Profile Information). The Invoice includes information provided by the Seller, Sales Manager, or Consignor that is shared only with Buyer User(s) and is to be used to contact the Seller, Sales Manager, or Consignor to complete the transaction.
Visitor: A Visitor User is a User who has not Registered for an Auction. Visitor Users do not have a bidder number. Visitor Users can see the "Top Bid" on each Lot in the Auction. The Top Bid information includes:
